LAWN PROS will provide landscape Design, Construction and Maintenance services which encompass all aspects of property landscaping. LAWN PROS will start with a conceptual idea for the landscaping and produce a finished product, at a fair price, which will beautify and increase the value of the property. Lawn Pros began in the summer of 1985 like most landscaping companies, as a small grass cutting service company. With one small pick-up truck, two mowers, a trimmer, and a blower, Domenic Arangio began to service six customers that summer with weekly lawn cutting and yard cleanings. The business began as way to make some money for the summer and immediately began to grow from the referrals of the first customers who were pleased with the quality and dependable service. On many days, Domenic would enlist the assistance of his good friend Kyle Shinnick to help with the growing list of work.

The company continued to grow over the next several seasons as both Domenic and Kyle worked diligently to grow the business into a full service maintenance company providing Spring and Fall Cleanups, Mulch, Shrub Trimming and Grass Cutting from 20 customers to over 60 by the summer of 1988. The business remained at approximately this level for several years as both Domenic and Kyle worked the business around completing high school and college. Both graduated in 1992 with business degrees from Boston College and Bentley College respectively and the company that begin as a way to make some extra money started to formalize.

The company began its next period of growth in 1997 when the formal business partnership was created. Both business partners resigned from other business ventures and made a commitment to work full time to grow and expand Lawn Pros to service all aspects of landscape design and construction and steadily grow the maintenance list of both residential and commercial accounts.

Lawn Pros has grown rapidly over the last ten years and now provides expert landscape construction for all masonry, stone, brick and landscape design projects including: retaining walls, stairs, walkways, patios, driveways, fireplaces and BBQ pits. Complete design projects including shrub and tree installations, new lawn installations, planting bed design, ponds and fountains, fence installations and full service irrigation contracting for new systems and service work. Our Maintenance Division currently services over 150 weekly customers and our Winter Services include full service snow plowing, sand and salting, and snow removal for our commercial, municipality and residential customers.

Lawn Pros maintains a loyal, experienced and expert staff of twenty employees that provide our customers with the same quality and dependable service that we began with over 20 years ago. Our business has grown with referrals from our many satisfied customers and we look ahead to the next 20 years of providing our next generation of customers with top quality landscape design, installation and service.

Domenic Arangio

Partner, is a Boston College graduate with a degree in Economics. Domenic is responsible for all Residential Construction accounts and the daily operation of Lawn Pros. Supervising two to three major residential construction projects that are in progress each day, Domenic relies on our experienced team of talented project managers and landscape professionals to expertly install your project.

As the lead designer for Lawn Pros, Domenic can blend a large hardscape masonry project with the beauty of dozens of plants and trees to make a LAWN PROS project really stand out. Being able to utilize our in-house design services saves our customers thousands of dollars. Domenic meets with all potential clients who are often unsure of what they want to do with their property and drawing on his years of experience, can design a landscape that is beautiful and within their budget.

He also is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Agent. His economic and investment background has helped guide the exceptional growth of the company over the past 20 years.

A sports fan and season ticket owner for all our local teams Domenic often donates tickets to many of the area’s charities.

Kyle M Shinnick

Partner, is a graduate of Bentley College with a degree in Business Management. Kyle’s focus is on the long term direction and financial management of Lawn Pros. In addition, Kyle is responsible for the cultivation and maintenance of the company’s municipal and commercial customers. Large commercial construction projects that require LAWN PROS to be on time and on budget are a good match for Kyle’s attention to detail, ability to schedule many tasks simultaneously and a love of a fast paced ever changing work day.

Kyle, is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Agent and has been instrumental in identifying many of the company’s current real estate holdings. The continued growth of the real estate and development side of the company is one of his main goals. The combination of Landscaping and Real Estate Development is ‘key’ to being able to maintain a strong, experienced work force.

Kyle is an active member of the Lynnfield Rotary (Past President), serves as a current Board Member of the Better Business Bureau, but is most happy coaching his daughter Courtney’s soccer team or watching daughter Katie play tennis.

David Leary

Operations Supervisor, has been with Lawn Pros for over 8 years. He is directly responsible for overseeing the numerous crews sent out each day to provide the weekly maintenance for the company’s residential and commercial accounts. Keeping all the equipment inspected and in excellent working order keeps LAWN PROS from falling behind. Also, being able to have safe well running equipment keeps people from getting hurt. David’s other responsibilities include meeting with residential customers to discuss and schedule their seasonal maintenance plan. In addition, David is the Head Coach at Essex Agricultural High School and past Junior Varsity and Assistant Varsity Coach of the Malden High Basketball team. Under his direction, in 2006, Malden High made it to the State Tournament for the first time in 10 years. David, has been selected to be a Head Coach for the Bay State Games.

Michelle Connolly

Office Manager, coordinates all office related issues. She is responsible for client billing, insurance, communications and financial reporting. An experienced office manager, Michelle, is the key person who coordinates all daily paperwork for Lawn Pros and Arangio & Shinnick, Inc.’s various business endeavors.

Michelle is an extremely dedicated employee of Lawn Pros and is also busy raising her two sons.

Beth H. Sobezenski

Accounting manager, handles the account payables for Lawn Pros. Beth’s business background has proven to an invaluable asset to LAWN PROS. Responsible for millions of dollars on an annual basis, Beth sorts and tracks all expenses.

Beth’s experience has helped Arangio & Shinnick, Inc. implement the systems needed to support the company’s continued growth. Her background in both a law office and a large non-profit has provided her with a high level of professionalism and knowledge of the detail oriented accounting practices necessary for her position.
